This session is an introduction to Ethical theory as it has been developed by thinkers for the past 2500 years. It is not a session about applied ethics, or situational ethics, but it will touch on these issues inasmuch as ethical theory can provide insights on how to solve ethical dilemmas.

Goal Statement Participants will gain a perspective on the history of ethical thought in the West, as well as the ability to think more deeply about ethical dilemmas that we all face.
